Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Natural Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), operating under the brand name PicTinder, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the PicTinder desktop application and website (collectively, the "Service").

1. Our Privacy Commitment

PicTinder is local-first. Your photos, videos, and media files never leave your computer or local network. We do not upload, access, store, or process your media content on any remote server.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Purchase Information

When you purchase a license, your payment is processed by Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). Paddle collects payment details such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment method. We receive your email address and license key details from Paddle to manage your license. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2.2 License Activation Data

When you activate your license key, we record a device identifier (machine name) and the activation timestamp to enforce the per-license activation limit (up to 2 machines). This data is stored by Paddle's license management system.

2.3 Website Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics on our website (e.g., page views, referral sources) to understand how visitors find and use our site. We do not use cookies for tracking purposes or share analytics data with advertisers.

2.4 Support Communications

When you contact us for support, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, name, and the content of your message.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Your media files: Photos, videos, and other media remain on your local machine and local network at all times. PicTinder never uploads your media to any server.
  • Usage telemetry: The desktop application does not send usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data to us.
  • Face recognition data: All face detection and recognition processing happens locally on your machine. Face data is stored only in your local SQLite database and is never transmitted externally.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and manage your software license (activation, validation, deactivation)
  • Send you purchase receipts and license key delivery emails (via Paddle)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Improve our website and marketing

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Paddle

Paddle.com processes payments and manages license keys on our behalf. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and is subject to its own Privacy Policy.

5.2 Google Drive (Optional)

If you choose to export shortlisted media to Google Drive, the application uses the Google Drive API with OAuth authentication. Your Google credentials are stored locally on your machine in the Electron app's secure storage. We do not have access to your Google account or the files you upload.

6. Data Storage and Security

All application data (albums, selections, face data, preferences) is stored locally on your machine in a SQLite database and Electron's secure storage. We do not operate cloud servers that store your personal data beyond what Paddle maintains for license management.

We take reasonable measures to protect information transmitted to us, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

  • License data: Retained as long as your license is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.
  • Support communications: Retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and for our records.
  • Local app data: Stored on your machine under your control. You can delete it at any time by removing the PicTinder data folder.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@pictinder.com. For data held by Paddle, you may also contact Paddle directly.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

10. International Data Transfers

If you are located outside of India, please be aware that information processed by Paddle may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
